HR Business Manager

Local HR Business Manager

Support coverage of and consult throughout the entire employee lifecycle including in compliance with all legal requirements and internal quality standards applicable in the dedicated country of responsibility.

Your skills

  • Ideally 3+ years as a HR Business Partner for USA & LATAM Market
  • Strong understanding of local SA Federal & state labour Law and compliance implementation methods
  • University degree in HR, labor law or similar field with focus on USA Federal & state Law
  • Employee Relations experience (complaints, disciplinary process, performance management)
  • Confident and fast handling of IT tools
  • Effective presentation and persuasion skills
  • Full independence in the tasks and willing to “get hands dirty” to resolve the problem
  • C1 English language, B2 Spanish Language

Your tasks

  • Establish a very close & trustful relationship with the local leaders in order to drive people topics such as retention, ER, compensation, career & development, feedback cycles & performance management

  • Together with the Country HR Team, break down our Global HR Strategy to country-specific needs & regulations

  • Handle ER cases including but not limited to labour law issues, complaints, performance issues & disciplinary proceedings in a confident & result-oriented manner according to local conditions in the designated area AMS Region (USA, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil)

  • Do not shy away from disputes, can proactively offer customer-oriented solutions that are in line with the principles of our HR Strategy

  • Act as coach for our leaders, guiding them through complex people topics in our fast-paced business environment

  • Facilitate-moderate trainings & trainings concept when needed

  • Participate in TA activities acting as an advisor to the business to align business needs with HR reality & processes
