  • EcoVadis is a globally recognized provider for sustainability ratings with a network of more than 130,000 rated companies.
  • We achieved an EcoVadis bronze rating in 2025 and are aiming for silver in 2026.
  • EcoVadis bronze makes us top 30% of our industry overall and top 10% in environmental performance.

HP Impact Awards

Climate Action Award for 1 Million Trees Project

  • We planted more than 870,000 trees in the Way Kambas National Park, Indonesia, to compensate for emissions caused by the services we provide for HP.
  • To plant and protect the young trees from intruders, animals, and bush fires, we employed dozens of locals, providing them with work and a means to earn a living.
  • HP recognizes our efforts and has awarded us for our climate action, with which we play a pioneering role among all their suppliers.

CDP

Global non-profit, running the world’s leading environmental disclosure system for companies, cities, states, and regions. It provides data and insights to drive action on climate change, deforestation, and water security.

We are part of CDP since 2023

Paris Agreement

Legally binding international treaty on climate change adopted in 2015, aiming to limit global warming to well below 2°C and pursue efforts to keep it below 1.5°C. It sets a global framework for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and strengthening climate resilience.

Science Based Targets

Science Based Targets provide companies with a clear pathway to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in line with the latest climate science. They ensure corporate climate action is credible, measurable, and aligned with the urgency of the climate crisis.

Hemmersbach has approved near and long-term science-based
emissions reduction targets with the SBTi. The SBTi has also verified Hemmersbach’s net-zero science-based target by 2050.
