Your skills

  • 2-3 years of experience replacing hardware components (Motherboards, Hard drives, etc.…).
  • Experience in Windows 7-11, MS Active Directory, utilization of GPOs, MS Office 365, PC hardware installation and troubleshooting, enterprise anti-virus solutions and IT ticketing systems.
  • Willingness to be in an On Call rotation with other team members, including working after hours and weekends
  • This role is an Hourly non-exempt salary position with a targeted salary range of $22 - $27 USD.
  • Availability for rotational shifts, including 24/7 on-call support and Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50+ lbs.
  • Must possess a valid REAL ID-compliant identification at the time of hire for federal customer site access.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent, unrestricted basis; no visa sponsorship or temporary work authorization supported.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel long distances between customer sites.

Your tasks

Hemmersbach seeks a customer-focused Field Technician to provide timely onsite technical support for consumer and enterprise clients. The ideal candidate has experience with HP servers, data centers, printers, and PCs, plus strong customer service skills. This role represents Hemmersbach at client sites and requires willingness to travel long distances based on location and demand.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite and remote support for printers, PCs, servers, and data center equipment, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.

  • Install, repair, upgrade, and configure hardware and software across client environments.

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues, including HP servers and enterprise systems.

  • Work with dispatch, project managers, and technical teams to support smooth service delivery.

  • Maintain accurate service, inventory, and issue records while following safety and quality standards.
