Your skills
- 2–3 years of hands-on IT support experience (printers, PCs, servers, or data center environments).
- Technical certifications such as A+ or Network+ are preferred.
- Experience in Windows 7-11, MS Active Directory, utilization of GPOs, MS Office 365, PC hardware installation and troubleshooting, enterprise anti-virus solutions and IT ticketing systems.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel long distances between customer sites.
- Availability for rotational shifts, including 24/7 on-call support and Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50+ lbs.
- This role is an Hourly non-exempt position with a targeted salary range of $22 - $27 USD
Your tasks
Hemmersbach seeks a customer-focused Field Technician to provide timely onsite technical support for consumer and enterprise clients. The ideal candidate has experience with HP servers, data centers, printers, and PCs, plus strong customer service skills. This role represents Hemmersbach at client sites and requires willingness to travel long distances based on location and demand.
Responsibilities:
Provide onsite and remote support for printers, PCs, servers, and data center equipment, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
Install, repair, upgrade, and configure hardware and software across client environments.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues, including HP servers and enterprise systems.
Work with dispatch, project managers, and technical teams to support smooth service delivery.
Maintain accurate service, inventory, and issue records while following safety and quality standards.
