Experienced field engineer

Field Service Technician

Your skills

  • Driving licence
  • Fluent Czech language
  • English on communicative level
  • 18 months of IT experience (or equivalent)
  • Customer oriented approach
  • Excellent time management skill
  • Experience in Windows 7-11, MS Active Directory, utilization of GPOs, MS Office 365, PC hardware installation and troubleshooting, enterprise anti-virus solutions and IT ticketing systems.

Your tasks

  • Provide day to day support at the customer locations within a geographical region(s)
  • Support customers in technical problems they have with their technical equipment
  • Installation: Assist with unpacking, cable connection, imaging (guided by Generali L2/L3), testing functionality, and removing packaging materials.

  • Move: Assist with packing/unpacking, relocating equipment within the same site, updating asset records, and testing. Moves outside the site must be coordinated by TCS; HEM will charge for any external transport it performs

  • Add: Install new hardware (e.g., printers, laptops), test it, and provide asset/configuration data to TCS.

  • Change: Support hardware upgrades or downgrades, including driver changes.

  • Decommission: Disconnect, pack, and move retired equipment to collection points, and report asset data to TCS.

  • Site Inventory: Conduct inventory checks upon request.

  • Break-Fix: Provide on-site troubleshooting when remote L1 support is insufficient. Act as smart hands for AV equipment in meeting rooms.
