Your skills

Exceptional communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
Relevant OEM hardware repair certifications (or willingness to obtain).
Comfortable lifting and handling equipment up to 50 lbs.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and clean driving record. (mileage reimbursed).
Experience using service ticketing systems and mobile device reporting tools.
Ability to work independently and meet strict SLAs.
Willingness to drive 50-200 miles per day.
Strong knowledge of PC hardware architecture and troubleshooting.

Your tasks

We are seeking a dependable and technically skilled IT Field Service Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be the frontline representative of our service organisation, travelling to customer sites to perform hands-on break/fix support and hardware replacements for OEM companies, including desktops, laptops, and printers, as well as selected enterprise-level IT equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair laptops, desktops, tablets, and workstations.
Replace defective components such as motherboards, hard drives, memory, and screens following manufacturer guidelines.
Validate warranty status and adhere to repair protocols.
Document all repairs accurately in ticketing systems.
Track and manage parts logistics.
Verify part delivery at pick-up/drop-off locations or customer site before dispatch.
Communicate professionally with clients to confirm appointments, explain repairs, and ensure satisfaction.
Maintain a clean, professional appearance in line with company standards.
Escalate unresolved issues through the appropriate channels promptly.
