Your skills
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in IT support, including PCs, printers, servers, data centres, or enterprise-level infrastructure environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware, software, operating systems, networking, and connectivity issues
- Experience supporting HP servers, enterprise infrastructure, or data centre operations preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and stakeholders
- Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, TCP/IP, networking protocols, and remote support tools
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple service requests, collaborate effectively with project and support teams, and travel between customer sites as needed
- Valid driver's licence, ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs, and willingness to support rotational schedules or on-call coverage when required
- This role is an Hourly Non- Exempt position with a targeted hourly range of $25 – $30 USD, based on experience and skillsets.
Your tasks
Hemmersbach is seeking a customer-focused Resident Technician to provide onsite and remote IT support for enterprise and consumer clients. In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service while installing, upgrading, repairing, and maintaining PCs, printers, servers, data centre equipment, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide technical support for PCs, printers, servers, data centre equipment, an enterprise IT systems
– Install, configure, upgrade, and repair hardware, servers, and network infrastructure
– Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues
– Support HP server environments and data centre operations
– Collaborate with dispatch, engineers, project teams, and technicians
– Track inventory, manage spare parts, and provide service updates.
– Maintain professional customer communication and follow safety and quality standards.
