Remote IT Support Specialist

Your skills

  • Experience with remote control tools
  • C1 English
  • Ability to identify the needed part replacement and/or bug fix
  • Deep knowledge of printing devices troubleshooting and remote support of various locations
  • Web-Jet Admin support
  • Device Control Center support
  • HP Security Manager support
  • experience in using a ticketing system

Your tasks

  • Initial remote responder for all reported faults across EMEA region

  • Escalate the ticket for faults to the Service Support Centre / Help Desk or Engineer that cannot be resolved by First Fix activity

  • Assist Customer with an overview of the device functionality

  •  

    Coordinate with client regarding device and client's Branded Software Support Service calls

  •  

    Report any occurrences of customer dissatisfaction to the appropriate Client Management Team

  • Provide initial troubleshooting for device problems and/or organise spare device replacements

  • Perform remote maintenance on devices as directed by the appropriate Service Delivery Management resource

  • Provide end-user training as defined in the agreement

  •  

    Track usage/activities at the customer site(s)

  •  

    Manage utilisation of the spare device inventory when required under the applicable SSOW

  • Ensure an informal working relationship is developed and maintained both internally and customer facing service users to support the delivery of an ongoing and improving level of service

  • Assist/apply firmware and application updates to client's fleet

  •  

    Pre/post installation problem solving

  • Assist ramp up of new clent's staff to the contract

  • Coordinate with other OSA’s to share knowledge of sites and solutions

  • Remotely support printer faults in EMEA regions
