Your skills
- 18 months of IT experience (or equivalent)
- Ability to build relationships
- Fluent English required (B2 or higher)
- Experience in OS, Apps and H/W installation and troubleshooting depending on project products
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours, as needed
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking protocols
Your tasks
Hemmersbach is seeking an experienced Networking Engineer to join our team. As a Networking Engineer, you will provide support to our clients at their location, troubleshooting networking issues, as well as configuring and maintaining their IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, and other peripherals
- Participate in project rollouts and deployments
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inventory, and equipment
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management
- Configure systems management tools for monitoring and capacity planning
- Answer questions, troubleshoot and document steps performed to resolve challenges with hardware, software and application issues in a ticketing system
- Switches and Access Points configuration accordingly to our standards
- Ensure all security measures and best practices are in place for security and network stability and reliability
- Define standards and monitor availability and suspicious network behaviour
