 IT Onsite Technician

Your tasks

Hemmersbach is seeking an experienced Onsite Technician at an L2 level to join our team. As an Onsite Technician, you will provide technical support to our clients at their location, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, as well as configuring and maintaining their IT infrastructure.

Responsabilities:

  • If provided, managing the replacement equipment made available.
  • Replacement equipment is to be stored in a secure environment (at DEDICATED client sites).
  • The work steps for setting up the replacement equipment and fetching the defective equipment correspond to those of refresh, which are described under IMACD/D services.
  • After repair of the defective device, loading with the current image and authorised software.
  • Management of replacement equipment, and on diagnosis of a hardware fault, recording of the necessary data (serial number, location, etc.) and feedback to the Service Desk to support the repair service.
  • The Service Provider will not be expected to cover any spare part costs.

Required skills:

  • 2 years of technical user support.
  • English language level: B1-B2 (The official language is English.
  • All Service Provider Engineers, FTE´s, Dispatch Engineers, and Team Leads must be able to support in a technical conversation in English and their local native language via mail or phone.
  • All communication towards Hemmersbach, including emails and calls, must be done in English).
  • Use of CMDB skills.
  • Use of ticketing system (ie, Service Now).
  • Have good manners when dealing with users.
